After inspecting a kitchen drain line with a sewer camera, we discovered that the line traveled underground behind the home for more than 50 feet before reaching the septic tank. The inspection identified a significant blockage beneath a concrete staircase in the backyard, approximately two feet below ground. Our Renton plumbing team excavated the affected area to access the line and replace the problem section of pipe. We also hydro jetted the kitchen line to clear remaining buildup and help restore proper flow. As part of the repair, Trusted Plumbing & Heating installed a new 4-inch drain line connecting the existing 2-inch ABS piping near the steps to the existing 4-inch PVC sewer line leading to the septic tank, providing a more reliable connection for the home’s drainage system.
