25 Year Old Water Heater Replacement in Federal Way

This homeowner had been relying on the same 50-gallon gas water heater for around 25 years. While it had a pretty impressive run, it was definitely time for an upgrade.

During the inspection, we also found the home’s water pressure was sitting at about 115 PSI, which is much higher than recommended. The existing pressure reducing valve had failed, so simply replacing the water heater wouldn’t have solved the underlying issue.

We installed:

  • A new 50-gallon gas water heater
  • A new 1″ pressure reducing valve (PRV)
  • A properly charged thermal expansion tank
  • New water heater flex connections

Once everything was connected, we tested the system, checked every connection for leaks, and confirmed everything was working as it should. The customer may notice slightly cloudy water at first, which is completely normal after a water heater replacement and clears up after running the faucets for a short time.

Trusted Plumbing was on time, worked quickly and didn’t price gouge. I’d recommend this company to anyone. Best plumbers in Renton!
Kevin C.
They showed up the same day I called, for the second time, identified the drain leak, and fixed it within an hour. Trusted is now my go-to for plumbing. Definitely will use them again.

Jim Cunningham was on time, friendly and professional. He showed up to my door step next day after my first call to their office.

I have used this company twice and they are amazing!! I will never use any other plumber. The first time they came out and helped install a new drain clean out and blew our roots out of my drain line. Jim worked with me on my budget and the quality of work he provided was great! Not to mention he did this during a Seahawks Playoff game.
