Upcoming Fall Community Events in Renton

Upcoming Fall Community Events in RentonThe last few years brought about many changes and for most of us, that meant spending more time at home. White staying at home isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it’s been quite a relief to see the city open up once again. Renton is a busy and bustling city and there’s always so much to do when you visit. Every other weekend there’s a festival, concert, or community centric activity that’s open to all. It can be hard to make time for each one, especially if you have a jam packed schedule, so here are a few of the upcoming events that you and your Renton neighbors can look forward to.

Olde Fashioned Halloween Scavenger Hunt
Halloween is right around the corner and if you’re looking for a fun event that has something everyone in the family can enjoy, then you won’t want to miss out on the Olde Fashioned Halloween Scavenger Hunt. This year’s event will be held on October 28 and once you get your map, you can start looking for appropriately spooky clues on storefront windows in the downtown area. After you’ve found all of the items on the scavenger hunt, turn in your game card and partake in live music, costume contests, and tasty sweet treats.

Gobble Wobble Wine Walk

If your interests lie more in the world of fine wine or if you’re a burgeoning wine enthusiast, the Gobble Wobble Wine Walk might intrigue you more. On November 18, from 2pm-4pm, you can taste and savor a variety of different wines from 9 wineries. You might also be able to get some holiday shopping done early as you stroll around downtown Renton while enjoying your beverage. Get your ticket for this festive event soon!

Free Admission at the Renton Historical Museum
For those looking to spend their time surrounded by history, the Renton History Museum offers Free Museum Days on the first Wednesday and third Saturday of every month. Located in a historic fire house, the museum features exhibits on the Duwamish people, the early industries of Renton, and more. While there, you can learn about what set this small mining town apart from its contemporaries and how an increase in manufacturing expanded the workforce and necessitated a need to establish important infrastructure like a municipal water supply and a sewer system.

When you look back at the past, it’s amazing how connected it still is to the future. Sewer systems are still vital to the city of Renton and we need them to stay in excellent shape. Trusted Plumbing & Heating are proud to serve Renton and the surrounding areas by offering sewer repairs, replacement, and installation.
